Biography

Dr. Andres Ardisson Korat is a Scientist II in the Precision Nutrition and Healthy Aging directive at the HNRCA. His research aims to identify dietary and lifestyle determinants of healthy aging using epidemiological methods. Additionally, his research explores the role of chronic diseases in the development of physical frailty in older adults and the effectiveness of culinary nutrition interventions to advance our understanding of the nutritional needs of aging populations. 

Dr. Ardisson Korat has research and development experience in the food industry, leading projects to incorporate whole grains, fiber, and micronutrients in various food products and reformulating product lines to reduce sodium levels and remove partially hydrogenated oils.

Dr. Ardisson Korat is a Research Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Nutrition, the Gerontological Society of America, and the Society for Epidemiological Research.
